Nick George, ten-year-old Variety kid wins big..Best New Stage Actor for the Post-Dispatch GO! List award. He’ll be honored for his breakout role as Flounder in the Variety Children’s Theatre production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Nick tried his first acting out in Variety Children’s Theatre production of “Peter Pan” in 2013 playing a lost boy. This year he got a major part and knocked it out of the ball park!
Nick began his life with broken ribs, a broken arm and a broken leg, due to osteogenesis imperfecta or brittle bone disease. During his 18 day stay in the NICU he also fractured his other arm and leg. Since that time he has endured many other broken bones. But that does not stop this positive adventurous spirit who loves to be on stage and adores the sound of applause.
